Marvel VS Capcom 3

From what I've seen there's platform parity. Comes down to if you're planning to play online and where most of your friends are. I only have a stick for my 360, so I went that way (assuming the damn thing ever turns up, can't believe Amazon didn't post it until 6pm yesterday... bah)

I only got my copy yesterday having been dispatched on Tuesday. The posties round here have got it bad haha.

That's really crap news IMO - not so much MVC3 losing out, but it just shows how much dominance CoD has over the games buying public in the UK. Any idea of numbers associated with that? I see Death Smiles didn't even make the top 10 either...

The first pack of Shadow Mode CPU opponents is up today apparently, and free. There was a title update the other day that I suspect sets the game up for this (it's started saying 'scanning for DLC' on startup now)

There's also the first costume pack (no doubt of many) up for 400 points.

Appreciate this is the wrong thread for bitching about this kind of thing, but my copy still hasn't arrived from !"$%ing Zavvi. Sent them a note about it on Saturday under the promise of a 1 working day turnaround, and I've still still not heard back from them. What's the betting I've missed the boat on the T-shirts by now? Bah.

I had ordered mine from Gamestation online, wanting the Steelbook. They hadn't even shipped it last Friday. :-/

So, I went on web chat, they apologised and offered me a £5 voucher on my reward card if I re-order - claiming their web store had messed it up.

Problem was, the reward card was part of the order so I had no card to put the voucher on.

They arranged for me to collect the game with the steelbook from my local Gamestation (same day) with my £5 voucher waiting for me. The guy in the store was really apologetic and allowed me to use the £5 voucher on my purchase of MvC3, gave me a student discount and let me use the 'free' £2 you get on your reward card.

I walked out with the game for £28.

Strong rumours there's going to be a 'super' version of this with 14 more characters announced at Comic-Con.

Probably do what Super SF4 did and come out at a cheaper price.

Sounds to me like 14 new characters could be an excuse to charge full whack.

Let us not forget that this is Capcom. Capcom will bleed you dry for a bag of **** with Ryu's face emblazoned upon it!
