14 characters seems a hell of lot of extras. If they (Capcom) wanted to milk the customers, they could have released a disc with just 7 new fighters, then a few months later, do the same for the remaining 7.

I've never been a big Marvel player, but bought #3 and not played it that much - mainly because I can't get my head around it. So I'm sticking with SSFIV: AE

Though I do love watching this played at tournaments as it gets a lot of hype.

Half the fun of it was watching how the pros could use as many DHC glitch-touch-of-death combos and whatever mini-inifinite loops they could do. They got rid of the Captain America infinite, which was in all honesty quite hard to do and that he isn't that much of a character many players have taken up anyway.

Most of the whining stems around max-factor level #3 (and) or Dark Phoenix. Though I don't feel they need to do anything. Sure, lvl 3 Dark Phoenix is a problem, and so she should. You've spent the whole match not using any super bar and at the same time evading snap-ins the preserve Pheonix.

I love the clutch factor of lvl #3 X-Factor as you can't rest on a 3 vs. 1 situation as anything can happen if you guess wrong. I've seen many matches get reversed. If you go back and watch the old MvC2 (sans X-Factor) matches it became a formality with a 3 vs. 1 since they can just cheese you for a time out and you cant really do much, barring a lucky dropped combo, or a miracle.

It looks like level 3 x-factor isn't doing as much damage as it was before, although it does now seem you can trigger it whilst in mid-air, so swings and roundabouts really.

Better online matching and a spectator mode is enough for me, the damn thing is currently incapable of matching me against people as rubbish as I am...

I left vanilla MVC3 in stores, so I hoped for this Ultimate edition to excite me a bit more than it did so far...
Dunno but even this leaked list is still on the meh side, especially the CAPCOM team.

really hope they redo the endings as the originals were poor
