From the video footage I've seen so far, this is clearly a very different beast to SSF4. I'm liking what I've seen, but don't expect to ever really be much cop at it. Still, the matchmaking options on SSF4 always manage to pair me nicely against people of similar skill so I don't have any doubts that this will be any different.

I might pop along to next weeks fightclub in Croydon.

I'll see how next week goes before I commit, but I quite fancy the idea of the Croydon one myself. I was never a huge MvC fan but this is looking far better than I was expecting it to.

Having had a ganders I'd say the Independent Retailers t-shirt has the best artwork but it's ruined by the games awful logo's prominance. Hence, The Hut wins

I'm hoping so.

Think most of Capcoms stuff has been free (only Dead Rising springs to mind as region locked) so hoping this follows suit...well it better do I'm not buying another stick for the PS3 to play this

Looks really good so far and I like what I'm hearing but am a little worried that it's gonna be horribly imbalanced (with the strange mix of characters and no arcade beta testing) and too chaotic for me.

Looking forward to it anyway but I do hope they'll support it with updates as they've done with SF4.

Think it's pretty safe to say that the leaked character list is pretty accurate now...

Taskmaster and Akuma.

Also, the first confirmation that some characters will be locked at the beginning of the game. Although it doesn't sound like unlocking them will be much harder than beating arcade mode a few times.
