Doctor Strange, Gambit, Apocalypse, Cable, they?d all have more interesting move sets than She-Hulk and X23.It's fun to see people posting (elsewhere) 'Hulk AND She-Hulk, rubbish' or 'Wolverine AND X23, lame', when if you watch the videos you can tell they're a long way off being palette swaps.
I don?t buy the reasons given for not including more popular characters either. I bet there?s loads of fan favourites being held back as part of a DLC announcement later down the line.

She-Hulk and X23 are pretty popular characters in Marvel at the moment. They both have their own ongoing solo series at the moment, for a start. Doesn't matter who they pick though, everyone is going to have characters they want to see that aren't in. There's no-one from Nextwave, or X-Factor, or MI:13, or Dead Rising, or Monster Hunter, or Phoenix Wright, or...
They've not shown the final boss yet, but they've said it's not Dormammu (he's playable, for one). The only plot they've given so far is that it's based around Doom and Wesker teaming up to take over both worlds, only to release something worse.
There have been hints...

Check Amazon price and it is 37.91 I think I will wait until I return from my holiday at end of february and think price will drop to 22 pounds in 3 weeks. I can't wait to play the gameComment

Had a few games of this today, mostly on the xbox pods which meant I played most of the time on pad. It actually works pretty well on the pad, far better than SF4 does. Got completely battered in the first round of the tournament, which was played on the PS3 version on a rather nice (if oddly wired up button wise) Viewlix cab.
From watching the better players later in the tournament there's definitely a lot more tactics in there than I thought there would be. No obvious tiering going on that I could see, but it's far too early for that.Comment

Slightly off topic but what's you guys take on MvC2? Deliberating wether to buy it not on the PS3?
I had it on the dreamcast and I enjoyed it then, but its been some years since I last played it and was wondering wether anyone on here still plays it online or wether generally you can easily play online matches?

MvC3 is sim ship on 360 and PS3. Played both versions today, couldn't tell them apart other than the on-screen button prompts. Feb 18th.Comment
