End of the Rockband Green Day demo has this teaser shot for Rock Band 3.

What do people think? If anyone can do it, Harmonix can.
Best thing is we won't just have traditional piano, so many songs use the keys in so many different ways.

I wonder if HMX will make the controller more realistic than the others. Anyone that's played Keyboardmania will tell you how insanely difficult it is so if Rock Band 3 goes the same route it'll easily be the hardest of the instruments to play.

My main concern is how crushed the screen could be. It's already tight without a keyboard 'track' there.

Indeed, band play with four tracks at the bottom would be a nightmare.

I'm keen to see how this will work, whether it's just guitar with the addition of playing keyboard sections, or a new peripheral entirely.

I'm expecting more than keyboards to be honest. I think they're going for a complete re-imagining of the instruments. Didn't someone involved say it would teach people how to play real instruments a while back?
