Might be useful to people. Free 90 days of PS+ when you sign up for a free trial of NowTV:

        - here's a question though. I don't have a PS3. I intend to get a PS4. Can I sign up and watch the 'required' 90 minutes on another device? Like my 360 and still get the code. Wouldn't mind getting it to stack up for when I get my PS4.

Just received my free 90 day PS+ sub.

          Gonna sign up again, haha.

Not too impressed with this months Vita content, that Lego Lord of the Rings game is awful! Don't know if it's just me but the camera angles are atrocious and overall feels a real chore to play. The Viking's game is OK is short bursts and has good online offerings.

I hope we get something like Resistance or Call of Duty next month.

Hoping for Unit 13 for NA this month, although I'll need to up my memory card size soon...

Not a PS+ subscriber myself but I have been considering it - the one big thing stopping me is not knowing which region to go for. My main account is Japanese so that seems the obvious choice but in terms of games I'm sure it's not the best one. Other than the use of avatars and things tied to the account that I get for free I'm not sure what the advantage would be... so which is considered the best option between a US or UK subscription (bearing in mind I would still be using my Japanese profile)?

I don't have a US PSN+ account so perhaps can't fairly say that the EU membershipis better but I do read far more comments on the likes of PushSquare of US readers wishing for the EU titles than the other way around. Of course they're mostly the same, with titles appearing in one region earlier than the other.

I also read that so far, the EU has received better games than the US.

One mans apple is another mans orange though I suppose.

Would the cloud save feature still be available to me with my Japanese account?

Obviously part of it will come down to personal preference but overall the consensus is that EU PS+ games seem to be better than US PS+. There's a few lists that have been collated over the year so you could have a look over them to see which one matches your tastes better. Obviously there's been some crossover.

US PS+ (up to May 2013)

                        EU PS+

One aspect where the US is generally better is the discounts they offer for PS+ subscribers. And any games purchased with those discounts are obviously yours even when your subscription ends.

Thanks for that - EU does seem the way to go.

Unfortunately a new snag has come to mind - thinking about the future, PS+ membership is going to be required for some online stuff right? That means to take advantage I'm either going to have to go with Japanese membership, or give up on my main profile (really don't want to do that... too much effort gone into getting the platinum trophies on several titles) and start using my regional account as my main. To be honest online play is not the reason I am considering a subscription, but it would suck to be subscribed and not be getting all the benefits.

Unless... is there any way to change the region on an existing account? I could feed the support monkeys some crap about moving back to the UK and see if they co-operate.

Shuhei Yoshida has previously said that having one PS+ account on a PS4 will allow other users on that console to play online. So if you had a 'Darwock EU' account for PS+ you should still then be able to get online with your main Darwock account.

However, along slightly similar lines, if you ever decided to buy a Vita (I think you'd be the 7th person in the world to do so) you can only have a single account on that so if you wanted to play the free Vita games from PS+, you'd have to do so with your EU account.

Dunno where to ask this so hopefully can get an answer here.

I know that the new account sharing rules make it so two consoles can have the account active at the same time. Currently I switch between two and there's no problem with downloaded games and obviously I can use the games under any accounts on the PS3 but what about if I was to try play the game online on both consoles with each other? so account A played the game that was purchased on account A and account B plays the game too on another console would they be okay to play online together?
