Tried to cut my long list down to a bunch of games I'm willing to play in the Plus Subtract Extravaganza I proposed earlier.
Here's what I came up with...
Burnout Paradise

I joined a few months ago so I've missed out on most of that list. If you were on PS+ at the time and downloaded those games then you can still download them but as you joined recently, like me, you can only download what's available now. I've checked random games from that list and they're no longer on PS+, except for people who got them the first time around.Originally posted by gIzzE View Post

PS+ is fantastic at the moment, I've had it 2 years and it is by far the best thing that the ps3 has to offer. However my worry for the ps4 is that because it is now mandatory to play online Sony will now start to adopt the free to play model by releasing very cut down versions of games which require DLC to get all of the content in the retail versions, such as driveclub when that finally gets releasedComment

I dont think Sony would be that stupid?
Its the one area where they've outshined MS and if anything they would be looking to bolster that in direct comparison over reducing its appeal. I'm sure there'll be F2P games in the offerings but I would hope its not as a replacement to some full release titles as well.
MS on the flipside have improved a little in recent months what with Sleeping Dogs and Dead Island, but there is still scope for them to increase the quality of the titles being thrown into the pile especially as they only offer them for two weeks and then change them out.
Of course neither the Xbox One or PS4 have a large enough back catalogue as yet so it may be a slow start but I note that whilst not free, on Xbox One the smaller titles like Powerstar Golf and Crimson Dragon have already had discounted prices in sales of 25% off. I figure give it 6 months and we might start seeing some of the launch games becoming free or having 50% sales?Comment

Hopefully once PlayStation Now is flying, there will be lots of the PS3 back catalogue being tossed at PS4 users.Comment

If you stopped receiving decent free games on PS+ I would simply cancel it. I never play games online anyway, and the PS4 has all of its features (e.g. Netflix) unlocked without the need for it. Even Elder Scrolls Online will work without a + sub due to its having its own extra sub.Comment
