I'm in but now I'm getting a notification every few minutes telling me I've been invited :/

It was going mental for me yesterday evening too - I kept getting messages over and over about the same people wanting to join, but they were already in the group (and had been for around 24 hours).

When I looked at the requests there were people in the queue waiting to join that it hadn't even told me about.

I managed to stop it by going to the Notifications list and deleting the messages. Don't know if that was a fix or just a coincidence.

Love how apparently the letters ntM in my username are a swear word according to Sony - what's that about??!!
