Plants vs Zombies is the big miss here for me, personally don't like most of the top 10 but i kind of understand why they are there.

still I guess PopCap will take mass public purchase as a consolation prize !

Good read. I hated the first Ass Creed, but some of the comments make me think I'll really enjoy the sequel.

I'd agree with most of the 10, but yeah, the lack of Wii stuff is disappointing. Little King's Story and Punch Out!!!1 were both glorious shiz.

Same. I keep getting an hour in and then putting it back on the shelf. I want to enjoy it so much more, but it doesn't keep my attention.

          That's because it's rubbish.

Killer 7 falls into the same group as Resi 4 and Metroid Prime, if there was a move/wiimake I'd certainly play it. It seems like a game that could take the augmentation of Move and tentacle arm it to perfection.

EH?! The name 'Killer 7' and the word 'Rubbish' just don't fit together.
It's a fantastic game from beginning to end with a damn AWESOME soundtrack, maybe I just went to another zone whilst playing it but the overall package felt like nothing I had ever played before.
Currently playing through for the first time 2004 (REALLY 2004?) readers choice handheld GOTY Minish Cap, lovely wee game. Made me wonder why the individual GOTY formats were not kept?

                Indeed.

The waywardness is, under Harman's name.

Believe it or not I bought it twice, I wanted to like it that much. Bought it for the PS2 and for the GC. I love the look and I love the idea, but I absolutely hated playing it.

I'd agree with Bort actually. I'm not one for shoehorning motion controls onto games, but perhaps for K7 it might just work.

Is Killer 7 one of 'those' games that gamers are just supposed to like, in some sort of elite cool way, but are actually rubbish?

I bought a GC purely to play Metroid Prime a few years back. It was rubbish. No More Heroes is regarded by many here to be some sort of gaming nivarna. It's rubbish.

I'm much more wary these days of certain titles that are surrounded by this false elevation of greatness.

Killer 7's not for anyone, but it is actualy a really good game if you can get into it, the same can be said about No More Heroes as well really.

They are far from mainstream titles and get really bizzare in places, but the gameplay is original and alot of fun in both games for me.

It certainly is a marmite game, personally don't think there is an inbetween with it though, you either love it or hate it. It's not the first game to split opinion and it won't be the last of course
