To me, Killer 7 was like the movie "Requiem for a Dream" ... unsettling, and terrifying at times, one hell of an experience that I'm unlikely to forget, but not something I want to repeat.

Yes, I get that No More Heroes' overworld is meant to be largely dull and boring. That means it's still largely dull and boring. If I could press a button and wipe every copy of Flower, Sun and Rain off the face of the earth, boy howdy, I wouldn't even hesitate.

Must admit though, first time I played Killer 7 I thought the style was incredible, but the gameplay didn't quite gel with me. I put it down for some time, but then when I went back to it I soldiered through the part I had stopped at, and ended up loving it to absolute bits. It's probably now one of my favourite games of all time.
