Apparently Major N says on his latest podcast that there's a possibility that there'll be a second wave of NXE invites coming.

It'll only be from the people who signed up and didn't get in the first time tho'.

You may be lucky though as they will add your serial no to the approved list so I would assume then that the net version will connect to LIVE fine and downloand any extra bits that it needs

I am waiting as I am not being without LIVE when GoW2 arrives

Is the hacked preview NXE the same version number as the legit one?

it's not hacked, it's just the manual files (same as the ones that will be on xbox.com)

Downloaded this of the net last night and the noise difference that it makes after you've installed a game is shocking. I can now hear all the little sound nuances of fable2 and its great. The amount of noise the dvd drives makes is a joke, thank god for the install feature.

Not on live so online play doesn't affect me. And as boris said there not hacked files so theres no risk of being banned off live if a when i do ever sign up.

Not legitimatly as you will void your warranty. But you won't get your 360 banned. I would do it if i needed one. Would never pay the money ms are asking for.

Has anyone tried playing an original xbox game on the new dashboard? Just asking as i haven't tried it myself yet.

It will void the warranty on your current HD I don't think it will affect your console. You have to remove the HD to send it for repairs anyway.

The in game guide is vastly superior as well, it now pops up smoothly every time, unlike the old one that would stutter and fall onto the screen like it was on its last legs every time the guide button is pressed.


Now why cant they improve windows like this
