What a profoundly worthless time to update a console. What is the matter with them?

Why does it need to go out at a certain time? The update proper will just update whenever you switch on.

To be fair I don't think it does. I get the impression it boils down to when some bod at MS bothers themselves to add the 10000 console ID's to what ever database mediates who currently gets the update.

The email said you would have it by 10pm at the latest

Yeah, I don't expect it to work, but figured I'd ask.
I suppose you could effectively end up with everyone in your street playing the same copy.

Or have 2 consoles to whore those multiplayer cheeves?

Yup same! This is pretty slick, infact it is very slick. The only gripe I have is some things take a few seonds to load up but apart from that a bug thumbs up from me!

just if anyone is interested. I had the leaked nxe off the web and got selected for the 3rd wave of the preview. My console prompted for an update and I'm back on live so definitley no banning!

This is pretty slick, infact it is very slick.

The best description I can give it too.

Everything's a damn sight more organised even if it does take you a few minutes to get used to how they've sorted things in sub categories for the marketplace. But once done I found I wasn't even giving a thought to the old dash - don't miss it one bit.

It's a lot more visual with the boxart and stuff rather than text upon text - allows you to find what you're looking for with ease. And God bless the game installs

The camp Mii's are still totally superfluous though.
