I had the page open where you could sign up for this a few days ago, I logged in with my GT but then it wanted me to fill in the same information which was already present with my GT, and I just couldn't be bothered (lazy, I know).

Aren't we all getting this on the 11th?

Yep, it rolls out to everyone on that date.

The preview is just a way for them to reduce the strain on the system instead of everyone grabbing it on the 11th.

I didn't know that? Now I will be able to tell exactly how much i'm spending per game rather than their crappy point scheme.

That's only for the Games on Demand bit though isn't it?

I don't recall seeing any confirmation they're going to extend that to XBLA and Indie Games.

HDMI audio is still bust though. Theirs a few new options for HDMI and video now with RGB etc...

How is it bust, does that relate to surround maybe?

I've not had a problem with HDMI audio, but don't have surround.

I read it in EDGE. And, reading it again, it is limited to On Demand stuff. It was a bit of a misleading title. A real shame; the whole points system is the biggest crock of **** going and my major reservation about micro-payments.

There are pros and cons

You're right, but the cons massively outweigh the pros. There is also no good reason why both currencies could not be accommodated.
