I've heard that Halo Waypoint is now available to those in the Preview and includes an Avatar Awardable.

Has anybody else had an invitation to watch a couple of films on the Zune Marketplace?

Yes and it reads:

It mentions that if I watch Benjamin Button on Saturday or State of Play on Sunday and then complete a questionaire that they'll give me 1200 points. It does say that you don't get the films for free though, I'm in work now so can't check but how much does it usually cost to rent a film?

Both are 360 MS Points for SD and 540 for HD.

How often do they send out this sort of stuff?

It's the first time I've personally seen them do this.

I think a video is about 560 Points, so there is some extra points to be made from this.

Depends on the film, I think, but both the films you mention are 360 points for SD, 540 for HD.

Think its november 17th.
You tried forcing the update, goto xbox live test connection and try the test, when it gets to xbox live little bar should appear and most of the times the update comes up in middle of that.

Thanks people, a few free points I suppose so even if I don't want them I may as well give them a go. I've not seen State of Play before so I'll definitely give that a try.

I'm installing Liberty City at the moment so I can't check but according to my Connect profile it's available now and I just need to "log in to Waypoint to earn some exclusive Avatar gear".

There's a couple of people on my friends list who have it and embarrassingly bad compared t them. I'm on level 11 while my friends are on 33 and 40.

Yeah its a proper item this one, 139mb download, when you log on it unlocks your very own 343 guilty spark avatar item.

I've just noticed that without any prompting it saved the Avatar Awards to my Memory Unit, I guess because that's where I keep my Gamertag as I use it on two consoles, and it won't let you copy or move any of the Avatar Items to another storage device.
