RUSE has got some pleasing marks, and it's one I've been keeping an eye on for a while. Good stats.

They tested the 360 version btw. Review suggests it controls well with a pad.

At the risk of the usual outrage, I'm at a loss as to how Guardian of Light can be a 6, did they mark it down for the lack of online co-op at launch?

Good to see RUSE getting that score, got the demo on PC and not gotten around to trying it yet!

GoL does seem a bit odd as a 6, we just completed the game on local co-op and its probably the best game I've played on xbla.

Really? About 1 point too generous I would say.

Guwange being reviewed already, and reviewing well no less! Give me a release date!

The score surprised me too and doesn't seem to reflect the review itself. Which is largely positive.

The only slight negative comments are along the lines that it is a stop gap between boxed releases and that there is an underlying feeling the TR series should be scaling greater heights....no mention of the lack of online co-op at all.

Each to their own I guess.

Why no Starcraft2 review again, bit strange?

Does it really say that? Are they really that lazy?

It's not a "stop gap" and it's NOT a "Tomb Raider" game, hence that being omitted from the name!

I'd agree with merf, playing it co-op it's one of the best XBLA games to date.

I don't know what Guwange is but it sounds like a drugs game. And with Joint Assault there too, I'm sensing a theme.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting things but to me it seems like the reviewer doesn't really know quite how to treat the game.

In the final paragraph he/ she says "it gets the job done between boxed releases" (in terms of brand awareness in the face of unprecedented competition) and that "you can't resist the feeling that this series about grand adventure should be scaling greater heights". Earlier on it is considered to be a 'spinoff rather than a main event'....

If it's a spinoff or stop-gap why would anyone expect it to push the envelope?? Fair enough if it was a fully fledged TR game.

Regardless of how Edge, or anyone else for that matter, wants to label it it's a great wee game in its own right. What more could you ask from an XBLA release than a few hours (6 or 7 in single player alone) of good clean fun with a side serving of replayability and co-op thrown in? Enjoy it for what it is I say

Some potentially good previews there, really interested to hear what they say about Donkey Kong - cannot wait for that. Metroid Other M only a few days away too - very exciting!

I'm interested to see what they said in their Fable 3 preview. There was a lot of inaccurate information in their last preview so here's hoping they focus less on what they've been told and more on what they've played for themselves!
