Time Extend: Tomb Raider 2

The Time Extend features are always gret to read and I'm glad one of my favourites is getting the treatment.

I bloody love Tomb Raider 2. In fact, if I hadn't already cancelled my subscription in a frothy rage before clicking on this thread, I would quite happily read that Time Extended in its entirety.

In the final paragraph he/ she says "it gets the job done between boxed releases" (in terms of brand awareness in the face of unprecedented competition) and that "you can't resist the feeling that this series about grand adventure should be scaling greater heights". Earlier on it is considered to be a 'spinoff rather than a main event'....

So much for judging the game on its own merits.

I have played through the DS version and thought it was worth an easy 8 even by Edge standards.

Just seen that too, very odd, and quite annoying that its been left out the mag completely (probably not to feature in printed form now).

I believe that Edge has never really 'got' Western games like RTS, RPGs, MMOs and sims. They never even reviewed titles like Baldurs Gate or Fallout.

Things were better for a bit when Ste Curran was at the mag (because of him stuff like the original Operation Flashpoint and Grand Prix Legends would score 9/10), but when he buggered off in the big walk out, the mag never recovered.
