All those moves look very basic, where is the Dante flair that DMC is known for?

I thought it looked allright but I have no expectation that Ninja Theory can pull off a good DMC game.

Yeah, doesn't really look like a DMC game but on its own merits it looks fine

I thought this was looking much better then when they started, in fact I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm still dissapointed in the lack of 60fps and the fact he looks nothing like Dante. That said however, I appreciate the series did need a reboot...

One thing that helped change my mind was this awesome artwork...



I think at the very least its giving Dante the right 'tone'...

I think Ninja theory are one of the best and most talented developers around in the West. I have high hopes for this, but rather they we working on Enslaved II tbh than this.
DMC shouldn't really handed out (not a fan of that) and to me the series died a death after the 1st game and Ninja Gadien shipping. The rest of the DMC games imo just haven't compared having been not only been outclassed by the original DMC but totally blown apart by Ninja Gaiden.

I think that's another game that's vastly overrated imo (good, but not as good as some make out, for me) . I enjoyed Enslaved far more and Ninja Gaiden II wipes the floor with it (shame it's GFX engine let the game down in parts)

Enslaved was poor. Clunky and linear as hell. Did look good though.

I think DMC looks pretty decent in the video but it is hard for it to stand out now as the gameplay is basically 10 years old.

I agree about the 60 fps and that will be a killer for DMC. But tbh I enjoyed Enslaved far more than DMC IV
