Someone change the thread title to "Spring"

Wonderful; in truth it's the only game I miss from not having a Saturn any more, so this'll fill the gap nicely.

not necessarily. it's already dropped to a reasonable price level (around 100 Euro) because a digital release was long anticipated by fans. the demand might even increase due to the game getting more popular and - after all - this is just a digital release and might not please everyone.

i will keep my mint copy at least until it's clear how truthful the remake will be. also, selling it now with maybe hundrets of other panic-struck owners will surely drop the price even further!

This is great news....... I remember playing this like 5 years ago or something, at the house of someone I used to know, and he shelled out top skrilla for it. I was actually quite shocked at how much more I enjoyed it over Ikaruga (which I assumed would be a better alternative to the original). So it will be great to finally sink my teeth into this! Radient Silvergun, is a gem I should have picked up when it first came out on the Saturn, but I chose to get Guardian Heroes at the time. MEH! Oh well......... decisions decisions..........

You know, I collect videogames like everyone else in this forum but I can't really understand why someone should sell his/her games because their value might drop due to DLC.

Radiant Silvergun as a DLC is great news, but I really wish that Treasure will do a brand new shoot'em'up rather than re-releasing old games in HD or going the sequel way as they did in the previous years.

I agree, but will they ever do one on the PS3 or 360?

I, for one though, would kill for a Gradius V re-release!

PSN and XLBA, they both have their share of shooters; the X360 has been chosen by Cave for their releases. I don't know how many copies the US version of DeathSmiles sold, but the market is big enough to avoid a complete monetary failure.

Great! I never got to play this, so being able to pick it up cheap is awesome. I still think the "original" will be sought after for collectors though, as there is nothing like owning the original and playing it on the original hardware.
