The win for me is, very simply, my Saturn doesn't look great on my lcd telly (though I still play it now and then). On XBLA it'll look wonderful all over again.

    Brilliant news

Looking forward to the online co-op but I hope Treasure have sorted out the lag I've experienced with Ikaruga over XBLA, as two-player RSG was a blast. A boxed double pack of the two on disc would be very welcome too.

Why is 360 and Apple getting all the Cave and Treasure love?
Don't those Japanese have any loyalty to their home-branded PS3?

At this point I'm starting to think Sony have forgotten they're running an online store...

I agree. It's beyond woeful. Last thing I found interesting enough to download was Noby Noby Boy.

Its awesome news . I really don't get comments over the price, the Saturn version will still hold its value, just like when most collectable games that are ported to other systems, hold their price (even REZ holds its price on the DC) .
Just happy more people will at last be able to play it and see what they missed out on 1st time around (and I can play it on my LCD) and see what a class system the Saturn really was
With luck if this sells well, it will make Treasure put its exclusive 360 shooter back into production

Now of only someone would pick up the rights to RAIZING shooters and ported them all over to LIVE

Andromeda's right. It's dead simple to pirate a Saturn game anyway. It's the rarity of the original in its packaging that makes it valuable and desirable.

Just to correct myself, if Sega fancied bringing Panzer Dragoon Saga to XBLA, that'd be super sexy as well.

Screw the collectors, if more people are able to actually play the game, that's a good thing in my book.

It would be nice to play it and see what is the fuss is about. I never played it or know anyone who have it. Buying the game and console is not worth the money as I don't have the space for it. I can't wait to play it.

                          Excellent news.

But seeing as I don't have a 360 no mo', it's going to cost just as much dollar as buying the Saturn original.

Release this on PSN. You cads.

Yeah, its odd. Could sell really well on PSN considering its massively outselling the 360 over there (or so I thought?)

                              Awesome!
As with Ikaruga and Rez though, can't see this dropping the collectabile value by much if anything. How about a decent conversion of Samba now for the Kinect?

                                From 1up interview.

"With both Radiant Silvergun and Bangai-O now coming to the Xbox 360, it's clear that the Xbox 360 is Treasure's favorite platform of this generation. In fact, Maegawa pointed out that Treasure recently redesigned its website to include a big Xbox Live arcade header on it. He said that the studio definitely plans to do more titles for the Xbox 360 after Radiant Silvergun, and is eager to hear what fans might want them to work on (and yes, he said he would pay attention to what people say on 1UP)"

GUARDIAN HEROES PLEASE, THAT IS ALL.
Will be nice to see some more Treasure stuff hit xbla.
Oh also mentions why they chose XBLA

"I asked Maegawa why he thought the Xbox 360 ended up being the best console for hardcore gamers this generation (especially in Japan, where a majority of the hardcore shoot-em-ups seem to reside on the 360). He wasn't sure the exact reason, but just that it felt kind of natural; that a lot of the hardcore games and developers all sort of flocked to it. Maegawa mentioned that when he thinks of fans of Treasure games, the overlap in audience is mostly with Xbox 360 owners. He actually alluded that it was this way with some of the Sega systems of the past -- to him, the Xbox 360 sort of picked up the reins from Sega's Saturn and Dreamcast."
