New Batman being shown, Sony have put out a "reserve the date" for a conference afterwards and VG247 have just found this (below), which they think is L4D related...

I've changed the thread to look at the VGAs in general as there are more than just a new title from Bioware to be shown.

Has to be Battlefield 3. It could be SSX4 too (video was originally tagged as EA).

Also rumoured to be an Uncharted 3 reveal but can't find anything more on that.

No, it's just been broadened to include all possible VGA reveals.

There are 10 announcements I think soI changed it to count all of them...however I didn't realise there would be so many god damn teasers so I gave up posting them!

The red herring was part of the bioware teaser which seems to be the most interesting one.
