Yeah, I think they said at some point they have two 'shivering isles' sized expansions planned for Skyrim.

That's good news that they're doing expansions worth the money, but would you lot welcome a radical departure from the existing game world or would the contrast between the two genres?

Would it ruin a perfectly involving engine?

I value your response as a game-maker, Flabio.

If they do decide to set something in Morrowind then it would be a departure by default, the art style of that province is quite different to Skrim and Cyrodiil. Lore wise, Morrowind is pretty much a volcanic wasteland (since Oblivion the red mountain has erupted, the city of Vivec is long gone, and the Argonians have conquered most of it from the Dunmer. It's why there are Dunmer refugees in the east of Skyrim).

Shivering Isles worked for me because it had a different look to it, but didn't really change the underlying game much. Just gave you more plot, quests and items to use.

I just popped in to tell you all that... oh, Daragon's already here.

            :-)

EDIT: Ooooh, the up close textures look much better. No performance hit either. Impressive.

Brilliant developer Valve has made a Portal 2 Space Core mod for brilliant game Skyrim. Dubbed Fall of the Space Core, …

Valve has a released a Portal 2 mod for Skyrim which inserts a companion robot into the game which is fully voiced. The best bit is Valve's quote on the voice acting:

"since Skyrim was the only major release of 2011 without Nolan North in it, you should consider this mod a patch to fix that problem."

Bethblog also says the console v 1.4 patches (including the PS3 rimlag fix - or rather, 'improvement') are with the manufacturers, so hopefully they'll get cleared and released soon.

360 is going live on the 8th and the PS3 is meant to be near passing too, with 1.4.

DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be more expansive than the five add-ons released for Bethesda's last title, Fa…

Bethesda says there will be less DLC spread over a longer, slower period but they will be larger than what was recieved with the Fallout games. To compensate there will be small free updates like the recent high res PC update.
