I love my PSPs. 3000 for PSP games, Go for PS1 games is how I run them. Plenty of UMD classics available IMO. Ridge Racers 2 is possibly the best game in the entire series.

I've recently started a UMD movie collection too. They all seem to be £3 now, so I figured why not.

I hammer my PSP. Mainly for PS1 and emulation but it has been getting more UMD love lately.

Ridge Racer 2 is awesome I have to agree.

I sold my PSP ages ago. And my DS as well. Since the App Store opened it has seemed a bit pointless taking my phone plus a handheld when I'm travelling.

It sorta flopped about a bit like a fish out of water, gasping for air, and stuff.

Played Peace Walker last night and have been playing Warhammer 40k : Squad Command too. My left hand goes numb if I play the PSP while in bed though, not sure why. Sitting up it's fine. I don't play it loads TBH.

As Sony did not produce the HDDVD, dazzle's skin with catch alight at the mere sight of it, I do however believe he does collect Hi-8 & minididsc.

I love my PSP's I really do. I have a huge collection of titles probably double that of my DS collection.

Thing is though, Piracy ultimately killed the machine in the west long before it's due date and Sony could never quite counter the problem. If you've not had a chance to play the PSP back catalogue its well worth getting one and playing the relatively large library of games as there really are some gems.

The PSP started off so well and that in itself makes me excited about the prospect of PSP2, if the rumour of its power is to be believed and Sony can stop the pirating ***** we could have a really stellar machine...

I've got a PSP-2000 but I can't say I've ever completed a game on it. Not a fan of the analogue nub at all. On paper it seems like a good machine but I was never really taken with it, although I haven't really engaged with a handheld since my last Game Boy.

I'll probably pick up a PSP phone for an Android handset with proper gaming controls, though.

TWO YEARS people. And I have a flash card to pirate stuff. There literally is **** all for the DS that interests me.

PSP has proper games for oldschool hardcore gamers, plus a growing list of exciting Japanese imports.
The DS has plenty of "oldschool games for hardcore gamers" and Japanese imports, for that matter.

The way I see it, on an import-savvy forum like NTSC-UK, if one can't find ANY games of interest on a prolific machine like the DS, they're not trying.

Mine's not seen too much use of late, can't remember what the last game I played on it was.

Still, I'll get round to Kingdom Hearts BBS at some point and I'm hyped for Dissidia 2 next year, not to mention all the EMUs and ROMs I have on there, so in my opinion the old dog still has a bit of life left in him.

Is there much difference between Ridge Racer and (2).

Not really. 2 is basically the more complete version, with more tracks. Definitely the one to get of the two as it has everything the first one does plus more. One of the laziest sequels ever and yet still a fantastic game and one of my favourite racers.
