SC wasn't a launch title indeed. It was the game I desired most back then, but bought VF3 to tide me over. I think there were about 2 months between the DC launch and SC's release. To my knowledge SC had been released around the end of November.
Daytona USA on the Saturn. Go ahead, bitch on it. But it was the perfect arcade handling in your home. And the only way to play this classic outside of the Arcade. Marked a new era; the era of 3D graphics on the consoles.
Dreamcast
As the launch was extremely strong. Soul Calibur was the game I wanted, but not there yet. So I went for VF3 and Sonic first. Hydro Thunder, MvC, Power Stone, Sega Rally, NBA Showtime were very strong titles too. I would eventually pick up more of those launch games.
