I still think that no game as captured snow as well as D2 on the DC, playing that game almost makes you feel cold , hunting out in the wilderness.Really like playing the Ski Jump effects in Winter Challenge and Winter Heat too

Nice snow levels in the likes of Halo, Mario 64, Prime, and the snow effect in Shenmue still impresses me to this very day.

I think MGS is a good winter game. I remember getting it at the midnight launch from the then EB with my two mates, and then playing it through the night all the way to completion after those two bunked out at about 3/4am. It was freezing in my mates flat which added to the experience.
