Forza 4 (360) scheduled for Autumn 2011

Just watched the 24min demo, I hear a lot of good things, especially on singleplayer and multiplayer !
Just a shame that there is no talk about changing weather conditions...
This is starting to get me pretty excited after all !

Yeh they do mention putting in practice/qualifying on the same tracks at different times of day but nothing about variable weather during races. That is one thing I absolutely loved about PGR4, with puddles forming on the track and you aqua-planing etc..

That said, he also mentions that there is a lot of stuff they arent mentioning...

I imagine it will be difficult for them to include rain and maintain a solid 60fps, especially with those new car models that look as good/better than GT5's.

One thing I've realised after GT5, is that if you can't do something well, don't do it at all (in relation to rain).

That new Fanatec elite wheel looks bloody amazing, I played with their TurboS wheel before and it?s really high quality stuff and this one should be even better !
I hope they will release these new wheels before the release of Forza4.... So far they could only tell it will be released by the end of the year...

This is sort of true. I can throw my Impreza aroun a dirt track very well however I find that playing Dirt 3 it's just not the same. It is a very good simulation and I am pretty good at the game but the feeling and the view from a real car just can't be recreated in a game. Those game cockpit views look nice but are complete bollocks for driving in. I find the bumper cam to be the most convincing to real life driving.

Dirt 3 is in no way a good simulation.

This is approaching soon. Have Turn10 said anything about multiplayer. Forza 3 was beyond crap online so I am hoping for online options to be put back in for number 2.

Forza 4 MUST have the ability to create your own public race otherwise it will die. (you could only join via matchmaking before, making setting your own races and options impossible OR host a private match that was only open to friends via invites).
