I was in Game today, as one sometimes is, and there was a spoilt kid (well, he was 18ish) having an N-Gage bought for him by his parents. The sales guys were so clueless.
"Can you put any SIM in it?"
"Yes"
"Even a pay as you go?"
"Errrmmm I'm not sure...."

And then they asked about it's gaming ability...
"Well it's the most powerful console with the latest games and the best graphics."
It was this 40 year old guy who obviously didn't know what he was talking about. Anyway, nobody over 30 knows anything about computer games. :P

The guys in Game were hyping up the MP3 capabilities... saying how it was amazing to walk around and listen to music, and it's got a radio, so you can listen to loads of music for free....
Yeah, but instead of spending ?230 on that lump, I can get a tiny little digital radio from any old shop for ?3...

And surely it's 32meg. You'd barely fit 1 song in 3 meg... in fact, you'd be lucky to find one song that short that you'd want to listen to over, and over, and over again.

No, it really is just 3meg, precisely why people are ripping the piss out of it so mercilessly. It may not have hyped itself up as an MP3 player, but including the feature with such a tiny ammount of storage is arguably pointless.

I'd have expected it to be 32mb, but even that is only enough for about 5 or 6 songs. I didn't even know about this (hilarious) MP3 feature. What, didn't Nokia already give me enough to take the piss out of? They have to include this as well...are they trying to kill me?!
