Nope, they're doing another round this time next year as well.

One Winged Angel was always going to be the encore too, it's probably the most popular and recognizable song from the whole series

Personally as much as a loved it and I really did, I would love to see some different tracks now. The Fishermans Horizon and the Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec tracks from the FFVIII album were amazing.
Would be nice to have a change from One Winged Angel, Aerith, Tina etc.

Dancing Mad and the Opera were standout moments and Liberi Fatali is incredible.

Liberi Fatali is a funny one for me, different choirs seem to pronounce it differently. Dancing Mad was really well done as well, bar the odd bum note here and there.

I think the integration of the videos on the two screens was a nice touch, and it was an inspired choice to incorporate the event's credits in place of FFVI's credits in the same lettering style which played as the intro with the 3 mechs moving towards Narshe during Terra's Theme

I was all up for that other than the fact it meant people clapped all through the piece I wanted to hear the most! Humbug!

But yeah, we had a great evening Didn't fancy any of the merch (bar the obligatory programme), and yeah, there was the odd bum note here and there, but it was quite lovely throughout. We were in a loggia box too which was very nice. I could've lived without One Winged Angel, but you knew it had to happen, hehe.

I can't stop thinking about this, it was absolutely epic in very way! My only problem now is that the singer doing eyes on me was incredible, and I can't find a copy of it anywhere because it was never done until recently

Consider myself truly lucky to have seen this, to have experienced a first like eyes on me, and to see Uematsu singing in the choir... So many amazing memories... I already can't wait for next year.

This reminded me how much I like Final Fantasy..

              I shall be rebuying FF1 - 12 in NTSC-U form, except 3 which wasn't released.

Was pretty annoyed at when they played that song from XI, as we never got a PS2 release.

Over half this thread is made up from FFXI players

Seriously gutted I couldn't attend this, Dancing Mad and Dear Friends live would have been amazing.

Don't think Dear Friends was played, don't remember it in any case. We got Battle on the Big Bridge from V instead.

I couldn't get on with the PC release I'm afraid.. Played it around 20 hours and stopped.

Chances are you wouldn't have cared much for the PS2 release either then!

Same game just crappier visuals. You could have easily configured a gamepad to use with the PC version.

The XI track was Memora de la Stono/Distant Worlds or Ronfaure?

Distant Worlds. I was gutted that a) Ronfaure wasn't played and that b) the Chocobo Medley video had no footage of the XI Chocobo. I felt dissed.. lol

Tickets now available for this at the RAH again on 2nd November.

25th Anniversary show this time with promises of never before played songs and many "surprises"

Booked mine just now, absolutely adored it last year!

Been having problems with the site all morning - seemingly endless queing and then page errors but EVENTUALLY managed rear arena seating. Really wanted VIP this year, but unless you were queuing since 7 this morning you had no chance

Should be good fun though regardless, loved last year's. Just need to physically and mentally prepare myself for the deluge at the merchandise stalls this time!

I got 2 at the restricted viewing this morning, circle Y. Had 115 last year, was at the front above the orchestra, was great!

Got a row behind that this time so shouldn't be too bad either!!

I wonder what the new tracks and "surprises" will be!!
