2013 is going to be pretty awesome for Platinum Games fans, as The Wonderful 101 is also due and possibly Bayonetta 2 (though I doubt that to be honest). Hope MGR is region free for you!

Just checked, it works fine.

Incidentally, it only works if you have an updated dashboard. The game comes with an update on the disk and I had to put a USB stick in my Japanese arcade unit to install it before it would play.

Saw this in the pre-order lists, saw it was by Platinum, checked out that Eurogamer gave 9/10 for the Japanese version last year, and decided, given it's ?20, to have a punt on a pre-order for it. Needless to say I shall probably join in the views for this in due course... depending on whether I start it or X-Com first.

Well it's been waiting here for me for 2 weeks already. So I guess someone's not bothered about the release date being broken. I had a quick blast but not sure yet, the lighting makes everything look really washed out and there are no gamma settings just brightness :/

Yeah it's got the same issue I had with bulletstorm, very flat looking. The lack of gamma control really gets on my tits. It doesn't really matter though because the game is made of win!

This is the only Platinum game I have no interest in

My biggest concern is that the online community will be dead, the game bombed in Japan and if it does the same sort of numbers in the west as Vanquish then theres not going to be many players to play against. If the game sells well and theres a healthy number of people online I may give it a look.
