Street Racer is still a good title.

I?ve been trying to remember this game for years.

It came as part of a bundle with my Playstation, along with a few other half decent games; Jersey Devil, Soviet Strike and (thank god) Resident Evil .;p

Best Mario Kart clone for my money.

I?d say that title belongs to Crash Team Racing.



I had a blast playing this with my mates. ;p

Within the series itself this entry tends to get shafted quite a lot but I always found it to be my favourite. All of the elements without the unnecessary difficulty spikes and with actual choice in boss order - Megaman X5:
(All the youtube vids seem to be running on a crappy emulator so the framerates lower than the PS1 edition)

Twin World by Ubisoft on the Amiga/Acorn Archimedes.

Probably my favourite platformer ever, even over Mario. It has amazing character physics, the shooting mechanism required real skill, I still remember it being beautiful to watch, especially as you progressed through worlds and it got more elaborate. The music is very special too imho. I to this day do not know anyone else who played it.

Isn't it just. Amazing tune, totally rocking. For some reason it was different in the JP version. I still have the Demo1 disc as it is on there.

Yes I know Yakumo quite rightly bashes Micronet, but this really is a gem of a game . A really great and deep Military sim (the kind you'll expect to see on a PC) . Plus the Japanese version features one of the best covers in video game history
