Geting hyped by a logo even when the screenshots don't look too different from SMG...but then again SMG was a darn good game, so nothing to complain.

The game is looking great. Looks like a lot of fun and not an exact repeat of something they've done before. Looks like they're putting the effort in. Not grabbed by the visuals, which I think could do with some defined sense of style or something just a bit more interesting. But I don't think that will matter once I'm playing.

Not for me but the daughter likes Mario so I'll pick it up. Need to buy a game for mine as I haven't got any yet.

My only concern from the video in the conference was it seemed a little bit slower paced than we're used to. But I'm sure it'll be fine. On my list for sure.

Style wise it's so bland. It is NSMB style mario, which is a bit boring to look at tbh

I'd say it looks more like Galaxy (sans planetoid theme) than NSMB, but overall, the vibe I'm getting from this is a cross between Galaxy, a 3D Mario 3 and the Sunshine void levels, which isn't a bad thing at all.

You know it will be fantastic, becuase its a mario game, and even the worst Mario games are still some of the best platformers ever made, but I do think that the look of it is rather basic.

Gameplay wise it looks good, but those videos dont seem to have much imagination to them from a graphical point of veiw, which considering its made by the people who did Galaxy is a little confusing.

I'm a little disappointed - hoping for for something more Mario 64. I'm sure it'll be good, but I wish Nintendo would let us control the camera again rather than having fixed perspectives.
