[360 owners] What's your completion percentage?

Or, how much value are you getting from your games? Obviously it's not an exact science, but I find this number infinitely more interesting than the overall GamerScore which is just a demonstration of who can afford more games. This tells us how much you're getting from the games you do have.

Apologies for spamming everyone with my own GamerTag, but that's the only page I can find that actually has this information! Anyway, on that page it'll tell you what percentage of your games you've completed, achievement-wise. It's based on the number of achievements in the game, rather than the GamerScore that they offer.

For the last few weeks I've been trying to up this figure, because it was at 42% which is pretty depressing. I want it at at least 50%, and have managed to get up to 45%.

I have a nasty habit of buying games, getting one achievement, and then shelving them for something newer and prettier. This is the thing that's really screwed up my percentage, and so I'm going through and playing these games and finding a new love for games that I didn't give enough time to before. Bayonetta, Mirror's Edge and Sega All Stars Racing have been played to beyond 50% complete now, so they're no longer reflecting badly on my percentage, and Fallout 3 is next, and probably Alan Wake or CoD4 after that. Some games (Football Manager 2006) will always be a blight on my record, though. I'm never going back to that.

As well as getting through old games I've already got, it's also making me much more picky about new games that I can't really afford. If I'm not 100% confident that I'll get at least half of it done, then it's not offering me enough value, and it doesn't get bought. Quite the money-saver.

Also, if you go to the dashboard on your 360 you can find out how many games you've got 100% of the achievements in, which is another interesting figure. I'm up to 39 out of the 178 games that I've played.

(tl;dr version: I'm trying to clear my backlog.)

    So, what're your figures?

Being careful when buying games (I have to feel extremely confident I'll enjoy a game before buying it) my figures are decent. I also subscruibe to the philosophy that less is more so, unlike a lot of gamers, I only buy one game at a time and am not tempted to buy another until I'm through with my current game.

    My figures:

    71230/83005 Gamerscore
    3308/3768 Achievements
    87.79% Completion
    49 games 100% completed out of I don't know. Around 110 I think, maybe 120.

      28% for achievements.

154 games listed and I'd class 72 of them as completed.

Only 5 100% achievements (three of them being scorewhored).

Apart from the games "played" during a short period of whoring I'm happy with the numbers. Worthy games were completed and the rest were dumped.

I'm gonna state now that none of my 39 completed games were bought for scorewhoring purposes, and buying such stuff now to up my percentage would be seen as cheating, so won't be allowed!

Amazing stats, Charlie, I'm genuinely impressed! (And a little jealous.)

Think I have about 8 games that Ive got all the achievments on and half of those are live games.

Most games seem to have at least a couple of achievments that are just stupid and not worth the effort to get.

Im missing one achievment for about 30 different games (Mile High Club, Hardcore mode on Dead Space 2 etc)

I have 28% which isnt bad actualy considering there are aparently 275 games in my list.

            40%

I put in 90-odd hours on Just Cause 2, and ended up with 86% completion, but didn't consciously hunt out the achievements. I completed all locations - because I was enjoying it. Hell, there wasn't even an achievement for it. I got a lot out of that game, but until I got a mate to do all of those daft kills for me (which I had little interest in), my completion percentage wouldn't demonstrate this.

Nor NHL 09, which I ploughed dozens of hours into, but only have 66% completion. Too many crappy online achievements, or contrived rubbish ones. NHL 10 is even worse. I'm on Be a Pro mode, which yields nothing in the way of achievements, and I'll be damned if I'm going through online crap just to boost the completion percentage.

Many games I like and play for hours have got a poor completion percentage, because I'm not interested in certain modes or grinding, or pursuing contrived achievements.

              No 100%s.

Don't care about achievements, dunno if that counts in this thread mind..

                Oversoul777

                Gamer score - 25047
                Number of achievements - 87
                38%

I will complete all full price games from start to finish (apart from Alan wake yawn!). Achievement wise I am not too bothered about getting 100%.

*Not a critique or aimed towards Charlie. Just expanding.

Solely buying/playing or going back to selected games that you know you will/can 90-100% achievement-wise is no different than blatantly whoring for score. Both are playing the metagame; just to a different extent.

The short period of whoring and my complete lol-wot at the PS3 Trophies dispels any allure beyond the systems being a permanent log.

There's a quite big difference, in that he's getting points in games he wanted to play, whereas you're playing games you wanted points in.

                    speedlolita, that's shameful

You have around 4500 points for over 70 games? Do you just get bored of everything very quickly and never finish them then?

The games usually don't live up to my expectations. I've only really used 360 for fighters and shmups seriously.

Only games apart from those that I've put any time into are Forza 2, Bayonetta and Final Fantasy XIII.

Many years ago I changed the way I play modern games and finish one thing, move on. I hardly ever find myself playing two games at once. So I imagine unless I give up because the game is terrible, its pretty high. Added to the fact I only own one physical 360 disc game.

Mind you I've borrowed a load of 360 games and thought this is bad and not played for more than 25mins before giving up. So my actual xbl stats are probably terrible still.

Can't be arsed with 1000'ing things, some of the requirements are just ridiculous, added to the fact it means nothing when you've done it anyway.
