I think they should have the completion rate as observable as the gamerscore. Lots of hurts in butts that would create. I only ever really notice it on xbox.com in the compare games section.

Better yet they should make it as observable as the gamerscore at the end of the generation so the ppl with monstrous gamerscores will be like. . . 45%! For the ppl that hate achievements, they'll just ignore them anyway so it won't make any difference.

Also, if you go to the dashboard on your 360 you can find out how many games you've got 100% of the achievements in, which is another interesting figure. I'm up to 39 out of the 178 games that I've played.

I'm initially aiming to get it to 50%, and then just to keep it there and (probably) go beyond it by getting more out of the games I buy, rather than just playing for 20 minutes and then stopping!

Makes sense. Suppose once you get into a routine of buying and playing straight through it must become easier, I say this hovering over the buy full game button for Swarm with a stupid backlog size

Hah, XBLA has been my biggest issue, really. I own something like 150 XBLA games, and a whole load are unplayed. Doing this makes it a lot easier to resist buying new stuff, and I can just wait a few weeks before Microsoft puts it on sale instead!
