Nintendo have Mario Kart, Starfox, Zelda coming this year for sure and maybe Mario 3D and Animal Crossing that is a very strong line up IMO. The 3DS also has some good third party support to look forward to. As for Kid Icarus, i really enjoyed the bit that i played on the tour.

A high-definition Devil May Cry collection will be announced for PlayStation 3 at E3, a source has told us. The collection is being made to commemorate the series’ upcoming 10th anniversary. …
News item sounds completely bollocks, but its not really surprising if Capcom also goes the Classic HD route. And yeah, DMC is almost 10 years old.

With Nintendo and Sony showing new hardware, it wouldn't surprise me if MS showed a propaganda video on their next system.
MS have the weakest show of the lot and if shown, such a video (much like the pretentious KZ 2 clip at e3 all those years ago lol) would show just what gamers can expect from the console. Except in reality, the system will be no where near the level they showed when the system finally gets released...

Motion controls seem to wear off, Wii sales etc are in a downwards spiral and Cafe is supposed put a bigger emphasis on core games than before. Just when Microsoft put most of its focus on Kinect and left the core gamer in the cold for a bit.
Their E3 lineup seems to be very big on motion controls, but is it what the crowd still wants?

They are going to lead on Gears 3 (space marines/chainsaws), Halo 2 HD (space marines/energy swords) and a Kinect Star Wars game (energy swords) and the swathe of cross platform stuff coming that MS have no doubt snared DLC-exclusivity arrangements for. It's the same every year - everyone claims Microsoft has nothing to show, and Sony are going to blow us away with a series of exclusive first party titles. And like a boxing match where one opponent throws a series of small jabs and seems to be on top before being dropped to the floor with a haymaker, you can't argue that Microsoft just tend to do a little, but what little they do is usually commercially very successful, appeals to the core, and continues to sell their console and peripheral.
