I do like the commentary in Winning Eleven...

      Yellow cardo!
      Heading shooto!
      Yah ta seh!
      Oh shey!
      Offsido ha ha ha!

There have been plenty of completely stupid moments in said game that have caused my brother and I to crease up laughing.

Conker's BFD is a given also...
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

Mabye this means I'm wierd, or a total Sega fanboy - but I laughed out loud when I reached the House of the Dead level of Zombie Revenge.
I dunno, It just seemed like a really funny in-joke to recreate the layout of a lightgun game and use it in a 3rd person brawler.
They even had the same music.

Other than that (and Conkers BFD as has already been mentioned) I just love Lions win quote in VF4.
        "Why am I so great"
The way he says it makes it sound like he really does want an actual answer.

Oh, another one, I find it highly amusing that in the (awful) English voiced version of Soul Calibur 2, Sophitia and a few other characters shout "Sorry!" after pulling off a neck smashing, bone-powdering attack.

Oh yeah toy_brain you just reminded me of those choice Engrish moments from Virtua Fighter:

"I don't make allowances for old men."

            "what a knucklehead"

            "I done handcuff lightning "

That **** is funny as hell. Chalk one up for Sega's great choice of canadian voice actors. I still stand by my first post too.

Any of the characters in Athlete Kings (I think that's the one!) when it was on Gamesmaster.

Halo. Someone had to. Sorry. Ahem. Anyway, I still can't stop laughing at those little guys...

              And I ain't sorry.

              Boink!

BFD did the trick for me too - though again, I've only seen clips on telly. Good enough, though

And how could I forget...? Wind Waker's 'Little Kid with the Snotty Nose'?!? I've barely touched the game, so it looks like if those earlier comments are even vaguely close to the truth, I have a lot to look forward to. 8)

What about Typing of the Dead? There's nothing more surreal than seeing zombies running around with words like "Idiot" and "Plate" above them.

gotta be Conker's BFD, and like mentioned before the BigPoo is incredibly funny ! the barn boys, the club .....

The music an voice acting of some of the Sega games.
                    Daytona USA : "Roooooooooooling staaaaaart"
Fighting Vipers : "let the Action begin" (it's how they said it)

The Wind Waker is probably the funniest game I've ever played. The 'Splish, splash' guy was hilarious.

Everything already mentioned was great but there's one cutscene in that game that really is funny:

When Link raises the Tower and the energy light shoots out. He hears a noise, screams out and ducks down, and nothing happens. He gets up, mumbles to himself and 3 seconds later it explodes and he goes flying through the air.

I haven't laughed so much in a long time

                        retro...

megadrive Captain America and the Avengers classic quotes:

*in horrid squeaky voice* Red Skull: one day you will all SEE MYYY POWERRRRRRR!

*when getting head caved in by baddies and you die* "i can't.... move"

it's a case of 'you have to be there'

and Shinobi 3, from the intro text:

"he is stronger than steel, faster than a whirlwind

                        sometimes he hides in mud...."

                        wtf?

Probably the grunts cackling in Halo, just before you tear them apart. Too many choice quotes to list.

I thought the voice acting in the original Resident Evil was pretty laughable........oh you mean really funny.

I agree with Marcus and Crisp_Rapper about the grunts in Halo.

                              "Small ones first!"

                              "Leader dead! Run away!"

They do get quite annoying after a while though.

I assume no-one has played Giants: Citizen Kabuto here then.

"My god, and I though Timmy was ugly."
"Hold this for me, mate" [PUNCH]
                                "What the f*** is that?"

                                You had to be there.
