Im still playing the first one trying to mop up the cheevs form the DLC and the game has lost none of its polish. I get that nostalgic feeling I get form other great games when I play it again.

There is a good small community on here so co-op will be good - Katujinken where are you ....

Yep I spent 170 hours playing Borderlands one with various characters on-line & offline plus all the dlc content

Assuming coop is the same as in the first game you get to play through the whole campaign which is fairly large. First Borderlands had a New Game + so you can get many hours out of these games (think my game time was 80-100 hours).

Ta...hmmm. So what kind of longevity does that offer? In my experience coop modes tend to be fairly throwaway (Portal 2 excepted). Sorry, I haven't played the first game (and I won't before 2 is released) so I just want to get a sense of what this involves.

Yep agreed annoying, will just wait till a sometime next year & pick it up pre-owned much cheaper.

Until we know what the actual chest is made of and with Game still on the ropes, the vault edition will suffice as long as the actual game is even half as good as the first, it's a win win (Plus a sweet bobble-head thrown in for good measure)

Any idea how to find out when they are staggering them? This seems like a really bad way of doing it.

I think they are deliberately staggering orders, it keeps being up for a few hours every week or so. It seems a bit sneaky to me but I guess it may stop multiple orders and them going on Ebay.
