Good timing. I'm on my last character to get to lv 50 (mechro).
I've read there there will probably be a 2nd season DLC pass and a much larger expansion to come.

oh there was a weird trailer thing aswell for the dlc due before june The video starred a few Borderlands characters as they played a game of Bunkers & Badasses, a spoof of Dungeons & Dragons. Tiny Tina was the dungeon master (badasses master?) and saw her explain the rules of the game while they killed time waiting for the Borderlands 2 vault hunters to deal with Hyperion enemies.

Finally a level cap rise, I've been holding off playing the DLC and more of the 2nd playthrough because I was level 50

The level cap seems to be taking an age to happen. I am shocked it hasn't been done already. They are running out of content by now I imagine?

Then again, when the level cap raises, all those level 50s are gonna be nuked, and I imagine this will be a way to get some better higher level purples to try and get better legendaries...

If it goes upto 61 again it will be a big jump. Level scaling isn't linear like in BL1 so I'm expecting it will be different.

But it does have a GOLDEN key. which are coming out my ears now.

You get to a certain point in the game where you have amazing kit and GKs are useless.
Maybe I should start new chars

I have just rebought the original GOTY as I never really played it at the time, to fill in the time til they finally raise it.
