The Sainsbury pre-order copy I received has a cardboard outer sleeve with 'premier content included' on it. The code was also inside on a separate card.

No, Premiere Club is offered by select retailers, primarily for pre-orders. If you didn't get the voucher for Premiere Club, you'll need to pay for Mechromancer.

SO premiere club is the online pass that ships with new copies, season pass is a season pass for content.
Single player pass will be Borderlands 3 of course

My copy included the premier club code anyway so she was either trying a scam or had no idea what the hell she was trying to push on a harassed customer! YAY Customer service FTW!!

I think its seperate, the woman in the shop showed me the character dlc code saying she would give it to me if I bought a season pass (I hadnt pre-ordered).

It's part of the premier club.

The Mechromancer is part of the Premier Club, the Season Pass only pays for the 4 expansion packs that are coming. Another other classes that are released after the Mechromancer or vehicles are separate paid for DLC.

I don't blame 2K/Gearbox for season passing Borderlands 2, original game was mega popular and when something is mega popular cash can be made from it's fans.

No, I bought the game on release day and it came with a premier club code.

If my copy is anything to go by its nothing to do with pre ordering the game, as far as I can tell its free for all new copies of the game. Unless I was just lucky and the store sold me a pre order copy by accident?
