E3 2011 Conference dates and times

Konami - time to be confirmed.

If anyone remembers the one for from last year, you won't want to miss this!



Monday, June 6th:

Microsoft: 9:00am PST / 5:00pm GMT

EA: 12:30pm PST / 20:30pm GMT

Ubisoft: 14:30 pm PST / 22:30pm GMT

Sony: 17:00pm PST / 01.00am GMT (that's the early hours of 7th June)



Tuesday, June 7th:

Nintendo: 9:00am PST / 5:00pm GMT






Where to view them:

There's usually a load of links closer to the time but Gamespot and IGN are usually your best hope.

Konami's will be live on their website, and Nintendo are also streaming their on their website too.

If anyone else has any other sources please post them and I'll add them here.

The Konami one is well before E3, they're holding their own special event and doing screening parties around the world. I think they could get it all horribly wrong and have a well managed, proffesional conference.

Anyhow, ranking predictions!

1: Nintendo
2: Sony
3: Square Enix (if they're doing one)
4: Konami
5: EA
6: Microsoft (their conference was probably the worst one last year)

The Sony one will be interesting. I wonder how they'll manage it. Would it be right to bring KB out and mock the whole PSN hack?

Definitely not, I think you'll see a pretty humble conference from Sony this time out. It'll lack the punch, but I think it's the right thing to do personally.

As long as they have the content (and they certainly should have), that'll do for me.

I expect Jack Tretton to come on stage drunk and weeping quietly before committing harakiri.

That would make it worth watching if nothing else.

Sony will be very very careful to avoid something quotable that makes them look arrogant with regards to the hacking.

Expect them to reference the consoles rather than talking about the company and to avoid mentioning the PSN except in terms of new features and how they're improving it.

I could make a MS conference if you guys want, but the conference will probably be boring.

You would find it very hard to produce a conference more boring than MS' last year.

I dunno, I mean they'll probably show GeoW3, Forza4, brag about sales and kinect and then the SURPRISE Halo remake. Might be one or two announcements but that's about it.

I'm still pretty new here so I don't know, but do people tend to be in the IRC chat as they watch the live streams?

We tend to start up a thread for each individual conference nearer the time, and then we all ramble incoherently into that for the duration.
