Yeah, nothing on show here points to it being notably more powerful than current consoles. The fact Nintendo don't even really acknowledge it's a new console suggests it's not something they want to shout about.

It is a new console, looks different from the Wii with the rounded controllers. They haven't made it clear whether some games will still just use the Wiimote (I know the Wii U can use them). Presumably some games will want more motion control which the Wii U controller doesn't look great for.
