Yep me too - Im also honestly looking forward to Nintendo Land, Zombi U and Mario and bugger it, i'll happily replay Mass effect 3 on the Wii U and i'll end up buying COD, Assassins Creed and Dark Siders on it too before Christmas.

Also really intrigued by Miiverse and roll on that HD Port of Wind Waker :-)

And only 5 weeks away too, Im genuinely starting to look forward to ZombiU quite a lot.
Worst case scenario is it's still a better use of money than buying an iPad 4/Mini

After reading the news about the 4th gen ipad I've bought the ipad 2 then I sold it for a ipad 3,on hearing the news I can't be well and truly arsed with apple anymore it's turning into a farce since the death of steve jobs
i had a iPhone 5 on contract but was so disappointed with it I changed it for a Samsung galaxy S3.
I can honestly say I've had enough of tablets from a gaming perspectivefor me gaming is a pc/console activity

I had to re-read it a few time last night to understand what they were bringing out as i thought it was just the ipad mini. I just cannot believe Apple are bringing a new ipad after just six months. I used to love Apple a few years ago, i loved the iphone and original ipad, but its fast becoming my most hated company who really dont give a piss about the fanbase they created. I do understand that at the end of the day they are a business that wants to make money but seriously they are becoming a joke. If i had brought the ipad 3 or whatever its called i would be so pissed of with this right now. Sadly i think Apple died with Steve Jobs, i cant believe he would have done this under his watch.

Apple were always going this way. They're testing the water - how much can we take the piss if you like.
Their model to date (tie you in to all things Apple and make it hard for you to leave) has worked wonderfully for them and sadly that means that the competition are copying that model, which makes it harder to pick an alternative. For phones Android looks like an alternative but Google make it difficult to use calendars that aren't theirs for example. Google want all your data basically. MS's new Surface RT with its app-store-only lock in. Amazon's Kindle not supporting the e-lending system of UK libraries. All the big boys are at it. Apple are the worst offenders in a lot of ways though but they also, arguably, make the best hardware so their stuff is very desirable.

Apple has been a joke for a long time in all honesty .. I have never been a fan of theirs, and I really don't understand why Steve Jobs was held in such regard. Trouble is there are still enough idiots in the world who will buy 2 Ipads in one year, and while they exist so will Apple sadly. I don't mind the devices or the OS for that matter, its how they conduct themselves on the world stage that gets on my nerves.

And I suspect the bubble will certainly burst on the Apple universe at some point in the not too distant future, I for one won't miss them.

I bought an iPad 3 four months ago.

I won't be getting another Apple Tablet ever again after this.

I feel locked in to using the phone as it is.

I have had a 3G, 3GS, 4 and 4S but haven't bothered with a 5 yet. Will try and wait it out for the 5S release in January*.

Looking at those HD Zelda shots puts it in perspective what a true Nintendo game will look like on the Wii U. You can keep your lazy 3rd party ports, nintendo will have the talent to make some lush looking games in time.

WW is, stylistically, my favourite Zelda. I love the way Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass used that art style.

An HD remake of WW for Wii U would certainly get me putting my hand in my pocket.
