Considering the number of games that involve some sort of inventory/quest/character management that WiiU pad could be put to good use even if it was just used for that couldn't it? I mean, somehting more imaginative is great but if all they did was make it easier for me to switch from boomerang to slingshot then that's still better than the alternative. Or getting rid of the map overlay that we often seem to need these days. Hmmm...

Ah the New New Ipad 3. Being an owner of the Old New Ipad 3 I feel seriously aggrieved by Apple. In fact they can shove their Ipads where the sun dont shine (bet theres an app for that)
The raping from Apple just made me decide to stick with Ninty on the Wii U. At least I know it wont be obsolete in 6 months (12 at most)!

I don't think putting necessary information on a different screen is a good idea. It doesn't work on the DS/3DS, and those screens are right next to each other. Any game requiring touch controls, and giving no option for real controls (like Phantom Hourglass) should also be ****ed over a barrel with medieval bondage equipment and then lined up against a wall and shot in the brain.

Come off it. It's almost like they intentionally designed it to force you to switch between the feather and the bracelet once every screen. There's literally no reason they couldn't have allowed you to pick stuff up automatically once you obtain the bracelet, like you can automatically swim once you get the flippers. It would have cut the time you spend going to the menu to change items by about half.
