The David Fincher directed (or Produced, not sure which) launch trailer is available now. It looks great but lacks the oomph of the Halo 3 and ODST trailers.

I've not seen it, but I'm guessing it's de-saturated slightly with a yellow/green tint to the colour balance?

I forgot about that bot of the LE to be honest, I'd of bought the maps anyway though. It's good to have a roadmap though, so at least I know when they are coming

Lets open our wallets like our forefathers before us did with Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo Reach.
DLC isn't a new thing especially with Halo, season pass is (which is just pre-order DLC) and Spartan ops campaign, first season of that is free and I fully expect to have to pay for season 2 onward, that's if it warrants it.

The ltd edition is the game plus the season pass plus a "blueprint of the ship"...but is so expensive!, ?64.99 compared to ?39.99 + ?15-18 for the pass (depending on points price)!! Madness...

I am actually really looking forward to this now tho...got an extra joypad and free weekend for campaign co-op and am going to try mp for the first time (only ever played Firefight). I will be a mega n00b being teabagged to oblivion probably but bring it on

MP isn't too steep a learning curve due to the matchmaking. You'll be able to cut your teeth so to speak without coming up against elite players. Plus... It's a new title with new weapons and balancing so everyone's starting a fresh.

My only tip is remember to always finish with a melee. Halo in a 1 on 1 is always about who can drop shields first and go for the killer finish.

The LE is quite expensive , but that's the price you pay for a steel book!

It also has some additional abilities unlocked and an extended full version of Forward unto dawn as well as various msking of documentarys. It really is one for people who like those things.

Halo 3 has the better campaign? Not good at all...3 was rubbish imo...but as I am focusing on the MP this time its still looking good!!

Im super excited to be going back, Halo is the reason i bought an XBOX & 360. He's an iconic character, and him & cortana make Halo, welcome back Master Chief.

A mate of mine reviewed it for a local site and was playing it last night... He's unbiased on these things and hated Halo3 so when I sent him a message and asked "Is it good?" his response was simply "Epic".

My copy shipped this morning and I'm not going anywhere online I dont trust until next week. I guess based on the review and imminent explosion of multiplayer hours MineCraft isnt going to stay top of the pile on XBL for long.
