Never played Yakuza 4 because I stopped with Yakuza 3 after only 6 hours in, but I'm really pleased with the list of cities in this new game. It was great being in Dotombori in the 2nd game. I'm curious, since they just list "Tokyo", if it is still going to be limited to Kabukicho or whether we'll be going to other areas as well.

Yakuza 5 will use a new game engine. Nagoshi also said that each of the five cities are as big as Kamurocho in previous games, if that's true then this game is going to be frickin' huge!

Boom! And it's official, coming to Japan this December on PS3 is Yakuza 5.
It has 5 characters and is confirmed to be in a new engine.

The link has the first scanned images of the game. It looks like business as usual but nicer looking.

And Saejima got a haircut, didn't recognize him at first. It's also sweet that Akiyama is back in the business, easily my favourite character from Yakuza 4.

Can't really wait for this either, especially when the English version is probably 2 years away... It's going to be a long wait...

I was playing through Yakuza 4 recently and was stuck on the bit where Saejima has to avoid the cops to get back to the hideout. Anyone got any advice on how to get past that part? I'd like to complete this in anticipation of 5 but was hopelessly stalled and stopped playing this a while back.
