Not going to try and start a rant but it is a little cheeky that PAL buyers are having to pay around RRP upon release of the title. We can be happy that the game got a release but it will always be tarnished with the knowledge of being a region-locked title.

Still, better late than never and let's hope Atlus doesn't entertain this backwards mentally with future releases ever again.

@teddymeow: Sounds like the publisher is saving on costs to get the game out on time as cheaply as possible. As long as the game proper is solid, all the other stuff doesn't matter as much.

(Wonders if retailer will actuallly send him vinyl of game soundtrack with order...)

It seems appropriate that Game are packaging a Vinyl copy of the soundtrack, as that was the leading audio format when the game was originally released.

          Bazinga!!

I don't think I'll bother with this now. Played it on my lunch yesterday and it's "okay".

I don't have time to invest in a 2D fighter at the moment when I'm going through Fire Emblem.

          It is very pretty though.

Well Mr. Kirov and I have had a fair slew of matches and I can see the game coming into its own now. Doing the challenges for characters helps you learn the system and how to use each fighter in battle (still getting my buttons occasionally mixed up mind).

It certainly is pretty and will please any Persona franchise fan quickly. It's not a half bad fighter either and one that I will continue to sink more time into...

Those special finishers though. Hard to dodge sometimes...

A great game so far- certainly helps that I love persona! You can tell that the maker did aswell, the amount of effort involved in making it feel like a persona game is incredible. Music, fully voiced cutscenes, a continuing story told from each characters perspective- I'm very happy.

The fighting itself is so unbelievably fast, it takes time to adjust. Feels faster than Blazblue, but also more accessible- even though there are so many systems in place. A smaller roster means the balance seems to be spot on, the only thing is you have some seemingly unlimited combos appearing online- but that could be me being crap.

The online is as could as you could expect, the only problem is the number of high levels playing- having a year more than the rest of us

My only real niggle is the sheer number of things onscreen to take notice of is ridiculous.

                -health
                - persona health
                -SP gauge
                - Burst Gauge
                - one hit kill-ometer

With all year systems in play at once, it can be really difficult to quickly identify what's currently happening with it all at a glance. Hopefully that will change once I'm more accustomed.
