Original Crysis - coming to 360/PS3

I don't think it's a good game. Good experience. My issues with it - your power bar goes down far too fast, your weapons do very little damage, and the AI can spot you a mile off through thick trees and shoot you dead on accordingly. Thankfully all could be saved through the ini files.

Changing them, I played through and enjoyed it.

Glad it wasn't just me who thought the weapons were underpowered!

Warhead seems to rectify this a bit though

I never played Warhead. Always mean to pick it up. Maybe next Steam sale.

Everyone says Warhead fixed some issues in the original, so I'd imagine you'll see those gameplay improvements (and optimisations) in the console Crysis.

Haha, I like the game for it's mechanics more than gameplay. I first played this at medium settings and even then it looked amazing on my E4400 and 7950GT. Got a Q6600 and a 8800GTX now though so it should run on high nicely.

It's only completely maxed out that taxes PCs btw, which looks mad.

All i can say is what a great price......which suprises me as its surely a GOD quality release.

Almost expected full ?39.99....or even halo reach lunacy of ?49.99(btw like the way they make out its a chart topper at that price)

the ?49.99 is ridiculous, I'm sure they only have Black Ops and Halo Reach listed at that price for people those hardcore online players that want to boot straight into game from dash.

I think Crysis Wars is the multiplayer module thing. I actually have it and have never loaded it up so can't be sure. And, yes, I'd call that a good deal.

Wars is indeed the multiplayer. In my opinion Crysis is the worst of the three Crysis games (including Warhead), though it is definately the most open.
Warhead had a much optimised engine, far better level design, better pacing and a better story. Crysis 2 then improved just about everything again, though obviously not all will agree!

They are all worth playing mind
