Why focus on just the one weapon? For teh hardcorz? The mines were excellent fun in the last game.

I also use only the plasma cutter, kind of came about by mistake. I played the first the way i play other survival horror as in first weapon should have most ammo in game, just stuck from there

Why need anything more than one weapon?

Na there's nothing hardcorez about it, piss easy enough when you upgrade it fully and focus on single weapon. Just always found the Plasma Cutter to be best and most accurate weapon for dismemberment, which was my main mode of killing in Dead Space 1, dismember and stomp to death. Got used to that way of death dealing and followed onto 2 with same idea.

I have experimented with other weapons though, who wouldn't when they do so much damage.

Cause im not supporting the concept of paying for things that should be or are on the disc, if EA makes money from this then every dev and publisher will jump on the bandwagon. Gotta stand up for your principles.

Yeah materials you can aquire in the game if you play the ****ing game.
Which of course you won't be because you're not buying it.

These resources (materials, scrap parts and the like) can be picked up by the player, picked up by scavenger bots you send out, or alternatively bought through a quick purchase from the in-game store

But Visceral even admitted that some materials will be very rare, ie forcing you down the micro transaction route, micro transactions in a F2P ive no beef about, in a game ive paid for, no thanks.

To be honest, I would probably agree that microtransations have no place in the offline, single player component of a full priced game.

Can't say I do remember that first time I have heard it, then again I was probably too busy playing Battlefield 3.

He did say though your not price sensitive when your asking people who have bought your game to pay you $1 to reload a clip.
This doesn't mean someone won't pay $5 for a ACOG X20 for a Sniper Rifle, it's all about where you price yourself, what it is and at what time.

Anyway he's only 1 mistake away from being fired by shareholders, lets see how he does next gen.
