Hook up Joe to a TV and have it play in the window of the shop, or set up a kiosk. Either one will help generate sales.

I'm really surpised about the double pack, they probably thought they had something different in them now that they were together.

They're not "****ing ****e" though. I'll accept the argument that WE/Pro Evo games are better, but FIFA easily takes second best soccer title on any platform and is a good game in its own right.

I agree its a shame that a quality title like VJ doesn't sell as well, but get some perspective from the other point of view. TBH I'm not surprised that it hasn't sold well. It's a niche title. I'd love for a film like Mystic River to become a huge hundred million dollar blockbuster, but I know it won't happen because people would rather go and see Bad Boys 2. And why not?

I guess the GTA double pack will be bought by people who bought a PS2 recently, possibly with the Eye Toy pack?

i just love how people slag off Fifa as being ****ing ****e - when its one of the most improved sporting franchises around at the mo

why don't we just give EA some praise for once again releasing a footie title with the highest production values within the gaming industry - and gameplay which is almost at the height of the genre leader (its not as good as the we series yet but it is heading in the right direction). You won't see a fifa game with a full team called OrangeXX - and you won't see a fifa game released midway through a season with last season's team selections either (and adding a 'free transfer mode' doesn't make up for this Mr Konami)

concerning the initial post in this thread - i am not surprised at any of the sales figures (except that Fifa2k4 on gc actually sold 13 copies). Viewtiful Joe is a niche game in what is now considered an out-dated genre, its had minimal advertising coverage whereas Fifa has had a television campaign plus full page adverts in all the major newspapers

Sorry Brats, After playing it myself it is complete "****ing ****e".

Edit- Just read camps post....Its a shame this supposed most improved game still dosn't replicate a game of football well imho.

The last Fifa game I played was Fifa 2002 World Cup (Or whatever it was called) and it was indeed ****ing ****e, but if the newer ones are better then I'm willing to take a look.

Does Fifa 2004 have online play on PS2? How much does it cost to go online?

Fifa 2004 is indeed online in europe. I havnt heard any thing about sub costs for the game so id assume your only outlay would be for the game, Network adapter and assorted cables.
I was tempted to pick up fifa 2004 purely for the network play but with Crimson skies and SSX3 due next week i dont think il find the time.
