I kinda wanted something else, another time period, but having seen that picture and thinking of the locale I'm definitely warming to it.

Not saying it wouldn't be cool, but it might not be what they're actually doing.

I doubt it's set in north America, not unless the time period is brought forward to the 19th century otherwise there wouldn't be sprawling cities to explore or tall buildings to climb.

I can see this one having a completely different gameplay feel to it though. Something more open, more like Red Dead perhaps?

Yeah, if it's set during the American revolution it pretty much has to have different focus on the gameplay as there probably weren't any taller buildings than two-storey houses back then.

The wealth of conspiracy and knowledge of the hidden hand is rich in this era. I look forward to the plot but am unsure about the gameplay.

Still, it has the number 3 in it, not brother hood or revelations. I have faith the team will deliver in a big way.

I really don't like the pro america **** those promotional art have... just stinks of some thing like the patriot. Maybe this is how the spanish and french felt in the other games...

Assassins creed: Revolutions?

I had a thought on this last night. It isn't as surprising as I first thought. If you remember the glyph puzzles in AC2 a lot of them involved finding the apple of Eden in key period photos and I'm pretty sure one of them was from this era?

Either that or my memory is skewed.
