2300 MSP got stolen to purchase DLC which was immediately license transfered - ali in one day. luckily the credit card wasn't touched for any further purchases and i wonder why. what's odd is that i can't delete my credit card from the payment options. really want to get rid of it now that i got a taste of XBL security.

Anybody else still suffering from this???

Just tried to log into my account to add my 3 month code from TyJay & I've been told it's been blocked as someone else might be using it?

I'm on a new Computer so wondering if that could be it but I've done the security thing to try & retrieve it but again alarm bells are ringing & with Lives track record of being **** with anything to do with cancelling accounts I'm pretty worried

What is TyJay? Sounds like some dodgy asian business.

Edit: And I've just this second noticed that TyJay is a forum member apologies!

Is it saying the code is blocked or the account itself? Have you tried that mass sign-out thingy?

              Account is blocked apparently.

Couldn't even get signed in to do the code

Gutted for you. I assume this happens on both PC and 360? Maybe a call to MS is in order...

Going to try the 360 in about 30 minutes when I'm home

I got a new work PC the other week & I tried logging in from that so wondering if it doesn't recognise the IP now & blocked it from that??

Hoping the 360 will be ok

                    Will keep you posted

Or it's remembered you using a cookie on the other machine and thinks it's still logged in on that one? I wonder if this is some new policy they've enforced so it's quicker to discover if someone else is using your login?

Also when you say new work PC, do you mean at the same place as the old one? If so then chances are the IP Microsoft gets from you would be that of your company's router which could be static anyway so they might assume it's the same machine.

I think there's a whole bunch of new security measures on the xbox.com site - I've bought / entered two codes today, and when putting them into the site I've been asked to enter a code that's been mailed to my registered address before even getting access to the 'my account' section. This happened both times too, despite accessing it from the same browser each time. You should be all good to do it from the system dashboard, I think they're just overly cautious about the site since there was the hubbub a while back about it.

Sure if you try and log onto Xbox live from an un-trusted pc now it does not allow you.
                          check out.

                            All sorted

Logged on fine on the 360 & the code worked like a dream.

Finally been able to turn off auto-renew as well now so in 3 months I'll be back down to a silver account at last.

Updated all my details on the Laptop at home as well so can get at my account on there as well so all groovy.

Thanks for the advice & help guys I appreciate it
