    Just installing it now.

I still want a PS4 version, a 1080P port with a stable frame rate will do me. IF they do port it to PS4 which they'll probably announce now us mugs have bought it, what are the chances of R* creating a save game transfer? There might be issues with the PS3 and PS4 having a totally different architecture.

I'll probably only play SP for a few hours before giving up.

Still, as I'm not paying for it it'd be rude not too.

Well, I've been playing most of the day and got a head ache as a result. Really enjoyed what I've played so far, it's like a more refined, polished GTA IV with much prettier environments, better music (there're songs by Don Johnson and Eddie Murphy!) and more interesting characters. Can't wait to get back to Los Santos tomorrow, now I need to rest my eyes.

I actually found IVs car steering to be lacking response, now it seems they've in the opposite extreme.

Jesus Christ Rockstar, cant you even get the steering right in your games anymore?

Digital Foundary picked up 200ms of input lag on GTA4 , it had quite a proud effect on the vehicles handling

The steering was great in GTA 3 and Vice City. In 4, the driving ceased to be fun in most cars. So some people aren't liking the handling here but is it more like 4 or older GTAs?

360 version here... I gotta admit I am really enjoying this despite me not really playing the other GTA's.
However, leaving the 2nd play disc in, is louder than my washing machine on my 360 Falcon!!

As for the handling atleast it's more responsive even if it takes some getting used to. Also i'm glad the cars are in the middle of the screen again plus there is a setting in the pause menu to lift the camera a bit so you can get a better view of what's in front of you like the main car view in GTA3.

To be fair the frame rate holds up a lot better than past games. It averages between 20-30fps consistantly which is forgiving for such a huge world.

Graphically at night it's a different beast. The lighting is stunning and I love the reflection of the lighting on the water. At sunset I drove as high as I could and the sky looked stunning.

Its nothing like IVs. Its the complete opposite. Its like the god-awful driving from Saints Row 2.

And what's happened to the long distance car view? Now all you have is closer & slightly less close, meaning you can see ahead so good

Install it to a USB stick, that will solve the problem

                              Hmmmm.

I can't drive for ****, I can't shoot for **** and I can't "Connect" to the controls. Odd. Car's amd character feel like they have a layer of soup between me and the controller. Button mapping (in the two types I tried) seems unatural and overly difficult.

The framerate is so bad it also makes me get symptoms of motion sickness.

I loved IV, but must be honest I didn't expect my first reaction to be "Meh".

So I gave it a few hours of exploring. Then as I played more and more I connected more and more. I now feel more like I'm in the zone, but first impressions were very poor indeed.
